I first ordered the shoe in my size (11.5) but when I put them on they were too big. So I returned them reordered in size 11 and they still feel a bit big. I was afraid to reorder in 10.5 in fear of being too small but I will say that anyone should buy a size smaller. Other then that a GREAT product! I have put insert soles and they are just right.

I love the comfort of GBX as the manufacturer. I have worn these style shoes for over 30 years. I think they are so cool. They have always been very comfortable and stylish. I am a musician, so they remind me of the 60s and 70s with the suede thing. So I call them my 'Hendrix boots' in honor of the 'greatest.'
Wears this shoe: To work, church, and everywhere. This is my last shoe in 'my history.'

This is a shoe style I remember wearing in the 60's. Nostalgia is why I purchased them originally; now comfort and style is why I'll wear them.

Genius chukkas. Almost an exact copy of the 50's chukka boots from the UK. Anyone in the States know what a Teddy Boy is? The most comfortable shoes I own. I now have 3 pairs of these and love them all. The plain leather are a tad stiff at first but that's normal. Will buy in more colors ASAP!!
