I love these boots. I bought my first pair two years ago because they felt like high-tops when I first put them on and needed basically no break-in period. They were great for walking to work in the rain when I lived in Seattle, but I finally wore them out after two years of daily wear. The Gore-Tex labels fell off after about a year, and they looked pretty shabby in the end, but the inside of the boot was still great. Other brands of boots I have bought have tended to wear out because the padding against the back of my heel got too thin. These wore out because I wore the soles down enough that the heels became uneven. I liked them so much that I bought the exact same pair this time.
Wears this shoe: I wear them to work every day, and also when camping, backpacking, and hiking.

This is without a doubt the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I have weak ankles and they are just tall enough to give me great support. They are also very durable and water resistant. As long as Garmont continues to make this boot it is the only one I'll buy.
Wears this shoe: every weekend. Yard work, riding mororcycle, hiking, etc.
