Liked the overall look of the boot & the Rugged look of the leather. Found that the narrowness at the ankle tends to be uncomfortable, rubs at the achilles tendon when walking a great deal.

I hunted and comparison-shopped for weeks before settling on these, and I'm not disappointed. The shaft is nice and tall; I'm 5'8" with long legs, and these come all the way to my knee with some crumple at the ankle. The toe is more rounded than is visible here, which is what I was hoping for. The color(I ordered 'cognac') in real life is closer to the color shown as 'loden' in the photos. The leather really does scuff if you so much as look at it, so unless you like the distressed look, at least stay away from the 'waxy calf' finish.
Wears this shoe: Work/socializing; too nice for rough use!

I love these boots! I've gotten several compliments and find them to be comfortable. The leather scuffs very easily, though, so they're my casual boots to wear with my denim skirt but if you're looking for dressy, these probably aren't the right choice. But with the right outfit, they're perfect!

I just love these boots. I've been looking for an equestrian style boot that I could also wear with long skirts and these are perfect. They have a half zipper from near the bottom of the boot to part way up the calf, not all the way to the top. I thought this might be a problem but its really easy to get these boots on. They are very comfortable and I can wear them with nylons or heavier socks. Very versatile! They are not too wide, so they fit nicely under pants, but they aren't too tight and look really nice with long skirts. They are expensive, but the quality is so good that I'm sure I'll get my money's worth. A good investment.
Wears this shoe: Anytime, with slacks and skirts, for work or casual.
