I have a pair of Altons I have had for 10 years and only the leather has just begun to crack. I liked the shoes so much I had to get another pair. The new ones fit as perfect as my old ones. I can wear these year round. I wear them outside as well as a slipper in the house since I have plantar factiitis. They are very comfortable.

I suffer from flat feet and so I need to be picky. I was looking at this shoe for awhile before I bought it. I wanted a clog-style shoe I could just slip on that would give me some support. So far so good. The Alton supports my feet well, looks good and gives me a very nice, casual feel.
