I bought these slippers becausethey allowed her to use her orthotics in them.I can do that, but there isn't much to support the formed arch of the orthotic. Nevertheless, these are the best washable slippers that I have found that will allow use of an orthotic.
Wears this shoe: I wear this slipper around the house.

These slippers are not only attractive enough to be worn in public, they are very comfortable and cushioned so that they keep my feet comfortable when walking on the hard ceramic flooring in my house.(I have sensitive feet-I am a runner).They seem to be very well made and durable as well.I will not hesitate to buy these shoes again should the need arise.

I bought the blue ones in a size 13 and I've got to say that they fit great and are very comfortable. I have an awful time trying to find womens slippers that I like in this size. I would recommend this shoe.
Wears this shoe: Around the house and mostly at night after work.

After many years of going bare-footed and wearing flimsy slip-on bedroom slippers, I learned the hard way that should wear orthotics all the time (to protect my knee). However, I have never been able to find a pair of slippers that are long enough (11 to 11-1/2) AND narrow enough (AA-AAA) so they don't fall off AND deep enough so I can wear orthotics. It's a tough combination, but even thought these slippers are marked "M" width, they're the closest I'm ever going to get to perfection....yes, they really could be a smidge longer and a smidge narrower, but I'm finally able to wear slippers around the house, and that's a big treat for me!

I was disappointed when the slippers arrived. They have a rough, scratchy footbed, not at all soft like one would think a slipper named "coddels" would be like.
