I ruined the pads of my feet from years of wearing beautiful shoes in NCY city commuting and an elegant showroom stand-up position career- 'never to dare' to wear sneekers to travel in! On a planned recent trip to Italy to visit sister and family, I kept the truth inside that I may not be able to walk! Horrified to the reality, I was in trouble. With my pain they saw me accomidate, we went into town to see shoes. The little Italian woman had these shoes on their feet, Flyflot and they were highly recommended. These shoes are worn there by women who spend hours in the kitchen standing to cook, market shopping through cobblestone streets and hills etc. So, I put a pair on--I was in HEAVEN immediately. NOW I CAN WALK AGAIN!--The Sylvia is open back and toe, so I bought it the next size smaller (I wear 8-8 1/2 and bought next smaller)so it perfectly fits with no space at the heal or toe. The Daisy is another great find which is true to size instead. They caress and sort of mould to your steps releaving all shock and hardness. Horray for Flyflot!
