The Florsheim duke is a shoe which I have had before and been totally satisfied with its performance. Every man should own a pair of dress boots.
Wears this shoe: Normally with dressy suits but on occasion with denims.

I used to wear this shoe on a regular basis but it had been years since my last pair. I was pleased to find that the quality and fit had not changed over the years and would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for something between a dress shoe and a slip on.

I like the style, comfort and level of protection provided by these boots. It is the only footwear I use on a regular basis; and have been doing so for over 30 years. The uppers last about three times longer than the soles. They are good for at least two resoles during their lifespan. Would not want thicker soles; however, as that would spoil the design and compromise the comfort these light-weight boots provide. Florsheim got it right here, that is why they are still making them.
Wears this shoe: Casual and Dress as well.

Good quality leather insole and outsole. Only all leather shoe I could find in a brown color.
Wears this shoe: Casual and dress occasions.
