Beware of small things June 13, 2012

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThe shoe is a beautiful looking shoe, nice softness to the leather. The only problem that bothers me is that the insole is only a 1/2 insole, from the heel to about halfway down (it is very comfortable, the insole) and then the rest of the inside of the shoe is hard and not cushioned. It feels hard on the ball of the foot in comparison to a full insole. If not for the insole, I would give this shoe 5 stars. For some, the insole may be fine, but for me it is bothersome, and the small ridge where the 1/2 insoe joins the the rest of the shoe has a slight ridge to it, which on a few occasions has caused the sock to ball up a little.
