These shoes are extremely comfortable out of the box, but the comfort is due to general squishiness, not because they're shaped correctly for my feet. I'll probably be buying fancy insoles in a few months. The color and feel of the leather is nice. But beware: these shoes are anything but fashion-forward.

Finding comfortable shoes for me is always a challenge. Wide foot, a high instep and a pronounced heal bone conspire to make most shoe purchases difficult (and the break in period long and arduous). These shoes were perfectly comfortable right out of the box. Super soft sheepskin lining did not put up a battle against the contours of my foot. Could be a tad more support in the arch, but that's really nit picking. This is a very very comfortable shoe.
