Good shoe, but not very slip resistant

I like the shoe overall. It comes with an insert that is supposed to be for comfort, but did not match up with my foot at all. It felt like I was walking on a golf ball. I pulled that out and replaced it with a different insert I already had, and the shoe was comfortable on my first day wearing it.I am a restaurant manager, and I bought this primarily because it was listed as slip resistant. It is mildly slip resistant, but not nearly as much as most other slip resistant shoes I have purchased. I wear this pair on days I am not expecting to spend much time in the kitchen.I also recently purchased the Apex LT610 Oxford. I give it a much higher rating as a slip resistant restaurant dress shoe.

Very comfortable. Good looks. Heel looks somewhat odd when viewed from the bottom, but is not noticeable for the most part. Don't know how well it will take a shine as I have not gotten around to it.
