The specially designed soles of Flat Tire Footwear are loaded with crumb rubber, the same material used to cushion the surfaces of playgrounds and running tracks. Flat Tire is the first brand to bring the shock absorbing properties or crumb rubber cushioning to footwear. CrumbTech keeps tires out of our landfills and puts comfort under your feel. Uppers feature padded collars and are quarter leather lined. Comfort molded footbeds are removeable and have a layer of memory foam. Recycled crumb rubber pellets fill cavities of the lightweight midsole for the ultimate in shock absorbing comfort while signature rubber outsoles with crystal rubber panels reveal the CrumbTech system. All day comfort meets year-round style in the Sydney. This plain toe lace up is made with premium leather for going anywhere and doing anything at anytime.

Really like the shoes...HOWEVER...I have scuffed them up as I wear them at work, and now I have have noticed dark brown shoes with a very light color of leather in creases, where you bend foot to walk and where I have scuffed them. NOT a pretty sight. Seems to me that a deeper dye should have been used to penetrate the leather more.
