Width Can Be Adjusted April 26, 2011

I take a medium width but that was not available, so I had to buy the wide size hoping that they would work for me. They were too wide, but after adjusting them they felt fine. However, the directions say to only wear them for only 5 minutes and work up to 1 hr. Mine felt so comfortable, I kept them on for 40 mins. or maybe more, and after about a week or two of this, my feet felt sore. So, I am going to give them a rest and start over sometime. I hope it works out then.

The first pair is about 1 1/2 years old and show no sign of wear but I have ordered new insoles for a fraction of the cost of a new pair.It is nice to find a pair of shoes to fit my wide feet and help my foot problems feel better.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthGreat quality shoe and looks good, too. Not for me, though. I have to return them because they just don't work for my problem feet. My surgically repaired ankle needs more stability than a slide-type shoe offers. Also, the D width (even with the Velcro that can be adjusted) isn't quite wide enough for my size 12 E (EE on the one foot) feet. I really appreciate that I can try shoes without having to pay for the return shipping, a godsend for my problem feet.

My doctor has said that I may, however wear Finns with no orthotics so I ordered an 39W in the jeans color. These have the look and feel of quality, expensive, well-made shoes. They are extremely comfortable. The color is an attractive shade of navy blue and they fit perfectly.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI bought these because I have fallen metatarsal arches. My "regular" shoes are too hot to wear all summer, but my feet are loving these. They offer great support, maybe better than my custom-made orthotics. And if your feet really need custom-made orthotics the foot-bed comes out and you could put your own in. There is a bit of a break-in time, since the uppers are natural leather, not neoprene like my old sandals. I wore socks with these for the first week until the top edge softened a bit.

So, having experienced a great deal of difficulty in finding shoes that support my feet and with the added burden of having to wear orthotics in all my shoes, I thought I would try a pair of the Finn Comfort. Awesome! I don't need to wear the inserts and they support my feet and don't rub or hurt anywhere. Can't go wrong with these shoes. Well worth the money!

It will be the best money you ever spend on a pair of shoes. I ordered a pair even though I really doubted it would make a difference with my foot problems. Well, since the day they arrived I have worn nothing else, and I will most definitely be a return customer for more! These shoes are a Godsend for people with foot pain.

This sandal is definitely more expensive than I normally would consider, but he reviews were so good I thought I'd try it. I can tell this will be my sandal of choice this summer. It has great arch support so I don't limp around the next day after wearing them as I do others. I will get my money's worth and I'm thinking of buying a second pair. Normally sandals only last a month or two before the support is shot, so I think its worth the price. Would definitely recommend this sandal to anyone looking for really good support.
Wears this shoe: Around the house. When the weather gets better, I'm sure I'll wear it more.
