These are great shoes. They're comfortable straight out of the box, requiring no real break-in time. They do get more comfortable over time though, as the cork/latex insole molds to the shape of your foot with extended use. They're lightweight, flexible and provide better support. In fact, the insoles are superior in all respects to the Superfeet green insoles I utilize in other shoes. These are meant to be dressier shoes and as such do not provide a significant amount of cushioning. I wear these mostly in the office or for casual wear. The quality of the materials is first rate.

The Finn Comfort Brand Shoes are excellent shoes that are made in Germany. The Finn Comfort Hilversum shoes feel like glove leather and are very comfortable. They can be used in an office setting with a sport coat, but are not dressy enough for a suit. The insole is an orthopedic insole which requires a little getting used to. Once your foot is used to the insole, they are very comfortable. I was surprised the shoes did not come with a metatarsal insole that I have seen in local stores that sell these shoes. ShoeBuy had a great price on these shoes and delivery was quick.

Finn Comfort shoes have been among my favorites -- extremely comfortable, almost therapeutic. The Hilversum has a dresser look than most and is very lightweight.
