I recently got orthodics. I tried several different brands of shoes which said they had a removable sole and could be used for orthodics. I was extremely unhappy and thought I wasted $300. I checked on the internet and found my way to Etonics DrX at Shoebuy.com The free shipping for returns sold me and I ordered the shoe. I found them a perfect support for my whole foot and have had no problem adjusting to the orthodic. In fact, I wear them daily!!!
