I've purchased this shoe for 10 years. I over pronate and have occasional problems with plantar fasciitis. I can wear this shoe without pain when the plantar fasciitis flares up. Best shoe for over pronation I've ever worn.

I bought the Etonic Minado MC shoes three years ago in an 8 wide. they were comfy and gave great support. Of course, that style is no longer available (only the newer version which doesn't come in wide). So, I thought I'd try these. I got them in an 8 Extra wide since that is all that was available. yes, they are a bit too wide but that is because I take a wide. My issue was how horrible they felt; stiff and cheap. I am sending them back.

I had bad knees eventually resulting in surgery. My orthopod recommended this particular brand which I still wear. They enabled me to walk around without discomfort. Over time, they have started to pinch (always buy a half size larger than your street shoe.) I have always bought size 8.5 and this time I bought 9. Perfect. Etonics have one of the widest "toe boxes" available in case you have pinched toes or toe-nail problems. Love Etonics. 14 years and going strong.

I find the shoe to be OK. It feels about 1/2 smaller than sized. If all of the eyelets are utilized the shoe laces are too short. Overall style is good.

This shoe fits me perfectly and I don't need to use my orthotic inserts with it, at least while the shoes are new, and that's a miracle. I'm a treadmill walker and work out at home with a trainer and these shoes are perfect.

I have a rather odd foot - wide front, narrow heel - and Etonics seem to fit me the best. Their "wide" is actually wide, and they fit my toes so much better than other brands. This shoe is good quality and good fit for the money.

Feels like part of my foot as it fits so well. I buy this same shoe every time as I haven't found any to fit any better. I have heel spurs and these shoes are the only ones that don't hurt my feet.

  • still the classic, but A width would be better than B width October 05, 2007

This is my running shoe, and has been my shoe for 10+ years. When the shoe company changed hands, the shoe went out of production. Then when the shoe came back in production, the A width was dropped. The B width is OK, but A width would be perfect.
Wears this shoe: every day for running or walking

Good sturdy shoe, a bit small in length, but good on width.

  • The Best Shoe for the Overpronating Marathoner! August 29, 2007
Reviewer: Dana Loewy from Fullerton, California
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width
I have put many pairs of these shoes through grueling workouts and 8 years worth of marathons, 25 to date. I go through a pair every 2-3 months. The Etonic Stable Pro III is a ready-to-wear, out-of-the-box running shoe for me. I don't even have to "break them in," which flies in the face of conventional wisdom--not to use anything you haven't tried before race day and to break in your running shoes.
Wears this shoe: When I train for marathons and when I race.
