I walked 18 holes the first day I wore them. No problems, no blisters, no break-in time. My only dislike is the tongue slipping to the side. A slit in the tongue through which the laces would go would probably resolve that issue.

I generally walk 9 holes. Out of the box the shoes were comfortable and remain so after a dozen 9-hole rounds of golf. I don't know how water-resistant the shoes are yet as it has been a dry summer.
