EMU Australia was founded in 1994 after a long association with the surf lifestyle and apparel industries working with major international brands. The founder noticed an opportunity to develop a line of uniquely Australian footwear and acquired the industry's best and most experienced people and facilities. Based in Geelong, on the south east coast of Australia (the wool capital of the world) EMU controls all processes from sourcing and tanning to manufacturing. All aimed at delivering the world's most comfortable boots.
