I can't afford to buy Uggs and was looking for a substitute that was as warm and comfortable. These are definitely it! I have had Bearpaws before, and these are much more comfortable, well made, and look better. The only reason I didn't give the boots 5 stars is that I have a wide calf (I need boots that have a 15 inch circumference or more), and these still bag a bit in the ankle because the my calves are a bit too large for them. I was disappointed because the boots are described as 15.25 in., which I thought would be large enough.

I love these boots. I looked at buying a pair of another brand, but I like the look and style of these better. They are pretty true to size, but have extra room for thick socks. If your foot is narrow would need a half size smaller. The calf size is average and probably not an easy fit for large calfs, but the shorter boot would be fine. They have great comfort. I haven't had any snow to try them out, but they should be fine.
