Great concept but didn't work for me...

I love the concept of this bag. It seemed to be exactly what I had been looking for. It has tons of pockets and converts from a shoulder bag to a backpack. Unfortunately, when I opened the package and took the bag out, I immediately noticed that the bag already didn't feel very light. I still gave it a chance and transferred the stuff from my "old" bag into this new one, in order to test it out. Obviously, it was even heavier. I don't carry that much in my bag to begin with. I carry the usual wallet (small one), cell phone, sunglasses and small stuff like lip gloss, balm, gum and mints. I was able to fit this stuff in the outer compartments. In the main compartment, I put 4 Luvs diapers (if anyone knows diapers, you know they are very light)and a thin wipes case (again, pretty light), so that this bag could function as a purse/diaper bag, because it definitely has the room. When I carried it on my shoulder, the straps would slide off. When I tried it as a backpack, the straps were digging into my armpit area and felt uncomfortable on my shoulders. The only way it was comfortable was if it was empty. The bag I currently carry is a little bigger than this one, is faux leather and has 1 little zipper compartment inside the main compartment, along with a cell phone pocket, and that's it...and it is way lighter with all of the above-mentioned things in it. I need more compartments but the Stella just didn't work for me. All in all, nice bag, but will keep looking.
