This sandal is a bit smaller than I thought it would be because it had a caution that it ran large. I don't think so. It's a 9-9 1/2 and I wear a 9 1/2. It almost feels a little short, but yet it is comfortable. I need a lot of support for walking so cannot use it for a long walk. It tends to rub a little on my right small toe. I think it will break in okay. For a sandal, it is sturdy and well-cushioned.

I bought these for a trip to Europe. I already had a tan pair. they are extremely comfortable and wearable for long periods of walking. The only negative is that my feet get quite hot in them.

Echo has created a super-comfy, supportive shoe. They were comfortable the first time I wore them - when I walked for several miles on a warm day! They aren't as cool (as in temperature) on the feet as flip-flops, but I can safely walk, run, whatever anywhere I need to go, wear them with pants and skirts, and they are cute too . . . I recommend them!
