It's a great fit, and will make a great summer shoe. It's very breathable and has a compact feel. It's almost like a sport sandal, but more shoe-ish.As reviewed before, this shoe is not "water-proof". The materials may be impervious to water, but I cannot find anything on the shoe or on the ECCO website that would suggest that this shoe uses gore-tex, or "XCR technology." As other reviews stated, the mesh upper really is see through. I thought that they just must not know what they were talking about and ordered this shoe anyway, but I can see my socks through the mesh, so there is no way it will stop water. Still, this is a great quality shoe.The description of this product may have co-mingled with that of another shoe.

Bought a second pair just in case the model might be discontinued. Very comfortable, light, soft, easy to slip in and out. I wear them all year except for rainy/snowy conditions.

This shoe fits my feet great, its easy to slip on and off. Very comfortable. Keep in mind that they are designed to ware barefoot or with socks when you are AWAY from water. The sides are pure mesh, for breathing. I love these and can't wait to hit the trail this summer in them.

I am a big fan of ECCO shoes, but this is the first time I tried something from their casual line. Some reviews say these shoes are waterproof. Definitely not true because this shoe is basically made of a mesh material. Decent comfortable shoe if you want the breathability of a sandal with more support.
