Maybe the most comfortable shoe ever
By Jerry, from San Diego, CA | January 10, 2011
I have wide feet (single E) and have always loved Ecco. I wore out a pair of Ecco shoes that may have been a predecessor to this style, and thought that THEY were the most comfortable shoe ever. But the Track 5 fits at least as well, supports better, and seems to have more springiness in the sole. These things are actually more comfortable than my running shoes.I walked a gully trail in them after the Southern California rains. Walked through runoff streams and they kept the water out. Got 'em muddy and they later cleaned right up. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this shoe.

Every generation is improved
By B.J., from Henderson, Nevada | October 09, 2010
In short, this shoe demonstrates outstanding quality of workmanship, comfortable fit and overall strength in wearability.Through the past several years, I've purchased 5+ pairs of shoes in the Track line. These shoes outperform others from the standpoint of (1) comfort, (2) durability and (3) style. I do prefer minor design elements of the older generations, but updates are expected. Testimonial: I recently wore these shoes at an outdoor concert where it was pouring rain (no umbrellas allowed). My clothing was soaked but my feet remained dry!Additional note: Ordering Ecco shoes online is not an issue because they seem very 'true to fit' according to the marked size (as compared with some other brands). From a personal standpoint, I only write reviews for a product that has 'wowed' or impressed me in it's consistent performance above expectations; these shoes meet this criteria.

I love Ecco shoes
By Brian, from Anchorage | July 31, 2010
I have bought Ecco shoes for quite a few years now. The quality is outstanding and the soles wear much longer for me than many other brands. I have a pair of dress Eccos and wanted a more casual walking shoe. These shoes might be a little warm in a warm climate, as they don't breathe real well, but for the Pacific Northwest and Alaska with rain, snow and milder summers, they are perfect!

Love these shoes

I do like these shoes, but they are not as slip resistant as prior models. If that's not an issue for you then it is a professional looking and very comfortable shoe. I highly recommend them.

Shoe had changed - Far far narrower
By John, from Cincinnati, OH | March 27, 2010
I have a wide foot and have been wearing the Ecco Track shoes for many years. I have purchased a number of this model of shoe (the low tracks) through the years. This latest model, the Track V, is completely different in how the shoe has become significantly narrower across the arch of the foot. It is unwearable for me. I am deeply disappointed that my favorite work shoe has been changed so noticeably.

Roomy, Good Fit, Well-Made
By Richard H., from Santa Fe, NM | February 10, 2010
I have a foot that is difficult to fit - it's wide across the front and narrow in the arch/heel. I have purchased a number of shoes recently, only to return them or throw them away because they hurt my feet. I decided to try this shoe because I had purchased a pair of ECCOs a few years ago, and they were sturdy and comfortable. So, I bit the bullet, because these shoes are pricey, and I am very happy with them. Comfort is great and becomes more so as I wear them. Also, they are extraordinarily well constructed, although a bit heavy. These two features are probably related.
