I have purchased 2 pairs of Ecco Savage Meds and can only say how comfortable they are. I hike and walk 4 miles every day, and what a comfort they are to my feet. I recommend these boots for all outside activities.

I am a big fan of Ecco shoes and boots. I have owned many pairs over the years. Usually the more classic leather type. I prefer Ecco for their styling, the quality and most importantly their comfort. So I think Ecco shoes are very comfortable, but these boots are by far the most comfortable shoes or boots that I have ever warn. By far. I cant stress that enough. I honestly want to buy a few more pair before they stop making that style because I don't see a point in ever wearing anything else. I think they feel so good because they have the support and fit of a good boot, but they are way more flexible in the sole than any other boot. A lot of boots are sort of rigid. So these being so flexible they are great for everyday walking shoes, or to do a little hiking in. And you can even run in them. Most boots are all heavy/rigid and horrible for running. And I like the style of these. And the fact that they are goretex makes them water proof which is great. Best shoes or boots ever.

Extremely comfortable for city walking with great gripping on icy days, waterproof yet still allows for breathing. Once I've experienced ECCO shoes this is mainly the brand the wear from causal to business.
