It was quite difficult to find shoes to comfortably accomodate the orthodics. The Ecco RXP 3040's were the only shoes that were comfortable in both lenghth and width, as well as having enough heel height to comfortably hold the orthodic so I didn't feel my heel slipping out of the back of the shoe. Because of the comfortable wear, they allowed my foot to heal much more quickly so I could get back to exercising three or four times a week. I have been wearing these shoes for about 2-1/2 years now without having my plantar fascitis flare up. I highly recommend these shoes for women who wear orthodics and want to continue with their exercise routine.

I have my left ankle fused and instability in my right ankle. These shoes provide the support that I need for my ankles, and they are unbelievably comfortable! I have worn many other brands on a search for a comfortable shoe that provides excellent stability, support and comfort. These are the best, by far.
