I had pretty good luck with another name Brand shoe when I needed a moccasin toe oxford for my son's school uniform. He got the year out of them and since he was walking around a lot in NYC with them, they got pretty wore out, especially in the heel, the uppers were getting pretty beat up too. Certainly not in any shape to be handed down to another child. Anyway, when I tried to buy a new pair in a bigger size I couldn't find them again so I bought the ECCO's. These look almost unworn after a year of tough use, just nice and broken in! Another boy could wear these for a year and he'd look and feel good in them. The soles ans uppers are very good quality. I'm buying them again in the next size!
