This is my father's 3rd pair of ECCO Cross shoes. His first pair (cream/neutral) lasted forever, until - after re-gluing of soles to the body and minor repairs twice - we forced him to pitch them. Pair 2 - black - was all we could find (on ShoeBuy) to replace his beloved supporting Cross shoes, and so we just purchased a third pair - brown - since we couldn't find a cream again. At least dad (who is 90) can trade off during the winter, but come next summer, we'll be looking again for the wonderful cream version.Fit is wonderful - support is perfect - and the lightness is just what the doc ordered. Couldn't be better, except for more colors. Thanks.

I was delighted to find this shoe still available through Shoebuy. Bought my first pair about ten years ago and wore them until they had to be cut off after a bad car wreck. Tried to duplicate their comfort with other brands -- nothing came close at all, at any price point. And the new ECCO styles just didn't interest me as much, since this one was proven. Still fits great, still feels great, still looks great -- I've had several people ask me about them in just the first couple of weeks I've had the new pair. Granted, they are a bit pricey, but worth every penny -- especially when you walk as much as I do. The insoles almost propel you forward. And even after trudging many, many miles through Chicago (where I lived at the time), two treks through France and one through Britain, this shoe still looked fresh, so I consider them a true value.

These are worth the extra dollars. Previously, almost every night after work my feet would hurt, I was always between a 9 and 9 1/2 and I've discovered a Euro 43 is the best fit I've ever had. This is far and away the most comfortable, well-made shoe I've ever worn, period. Break in period: Approximately 12 seconds, and I am completely satisfied. Ecco has earned a repeating customer. They are simply fabulous.
