Bought these to wear on a trip to Washington, DC where we planned to do LOTS of walking. They worked out well. They allow your foot full movement throughout your stride, which helps when you're walking on concrete sidewalks for hours. I advise breaking them in for a few days before extended periods of wearing them. I had some tender skin/blisters on one heel at first. Wish the shoe were a tad roomier in the toe box. I have bunions and will only be able to wear these with light weight socks. That said, I do really like them. I'm thinking about ordering another pair a bit larger to wear in cold weather with heavier socks!
