I wanted a comfortable slip on shoe I can wear traveling on business. This shoe is comfortable, but looks a little more casual than it did online. In my opinion, it's missing a silver buckle or accent piece that would dress it up just a touch. The leather is of high quality but these ECCO's are probably better for someone needing a business casual shoe to pair with dockers or jeans - than the upscale slacks and dress shirts I wear. Because of the value to price ratio, these are keepers but I'll be looking for future ECCOs to be more dressy.

I wore my previous pair of Ecco Arlanda shoes everyday to work and in casual situations for nearly five years. The only reason I am replacing them now is that the sole has finally worn out - the fit and comfort were never com promised.
