These boots seem comfortable, although I've only worn them in the house to try them on as yet. They were well-made, although the synthetic leather material is not the most leather-looking I've seen. The heel is a moderate height, which is what I wanted. They can be somewhat dressy or casual, depending on what you wear them with.
