This boot is gorgeous and fits pretty good right out of the box. I had to get the wide for my toes so it was a little loose in the heel, but that's more a problem with my flipper feet than with the shoe. I think the pewter color is beautiful but my husband isn't sold on it. His tastes run more sedate, but he's not wearing it! FYI, the heel is actually 2.25" tall.

I bought the pewter, and it has a really pretty metallic sheen, almost like gun metal but not too flashy, just enough to catch your eye. It's a very comfortable boot. They will go well with jeans and skirts. I'm looking forward to wearing them this fall.

I wanted another color of boots for the upcoming fall/winter season. I'm so pleased about these, they are true to size, super comfortable and soft inside and the heel height you don't even feel. The color looks way better in real life then on the computer. It's silvery, shiny gray and it's stunning. It's not cheesy or cheap looking. It's very classy and original. I love them and can't wait to wear them!
