I bought a pair of these some years back and thought, at the time, they were really comfortable. However, I recently wore them while walking around Los Angeles and my feet, even though I was wearing thick socks, were slipping around the shoe and I got so many blisters. These are too wide for a my feet. I have another pair that I bought with a gift card last year and I have not worn them because they don't feel the same as the used do. The sole feels rock hard and they hurt my ankle. I used to love Easy Spirits but i will be going back to Saucony because they are narrower and more comfortable.

First time I have tried the "Punter" - I have been an Easy Spirit user for several years. These are good walking shoes, give good support. I would recommend them for someone who walks routinely.
Wears this shoe: I walk 2 to 3 miles 4 to 5 times a week

I have been buying Easy Spirit Shoes for around 15 years where ever I could find them. They are the most comfortable shoe that I have ever had. Lots of room in the toes good arch support and fits perfectly around the ankle. The shoe last over two years for me, just gets to dingy and I need a new white or black so go with my work clothes.

this is the 3rd pair I've purchased. They are the most comfortable shoes! They have a very thick cushioned insole which make you feel like your walking on clouds. I love these shoes!!

I wear a 4 1/2, sometimes I can wear a 5, so I ordered this shoe in a 5 - it fit great. I read the reviews of others, and I am a medium width...leaning just a little to the narrow side, and this shoe worked great for me. I wear socks with athletic shoes, so it feels like a 4 1/2. I would suggest ordering a half size larger, and if you have a wider foot - this might not be the shoe for you.
Wears this shoe: Walking and exercising...grocery, to the mall, etc.
