A Bit Too bulky and dangerous for me! October 18, 2012

I thought I would love this shoe, but I found out otherwise. It was very bulky looking. I wore them to work anyway. I nearly fell down twice in one day. The rubber sole caught on the floor while I was walking and made me stubble and nearly fall. They were a bit tight over the top of my foot and I couldn't wait to take them off after work. I tried wearing them a second time, and that was a mistake. I again nearly fell stepping off of some stairs. I feel like I wasted my money and will have to give these shoes away with a warning attached. They looked so good in the picture, but that is all. I will not order any more shoes off line again. I so much wanted to like these shoes. :(
Wears this shoe: I wore it to work twice only. They are too dangerous.

I was looking for comfortable, but cute, heeled sandals that I could last in all day. These really hit the mark! The zip-up back really make them easy to get in and out of. I've received many compliments and look forward to getting them in brown too.

I ordered this sandal in brown and get compliments on it all the time, which doesn't surprise me as it's gorgeous and goes well with anything. What did surprise me was how comfortable, sturdy and supportive it was. It has great arch support, no discernible heel, a rocker sole and an extra cushiony footbed that appears to be made out of an odor resistant material, on top of the already shock-absorbing platform. The zipper on the heel is not only super sexy, but it makes getting the sandals on and off a snap. Genius! I'm thinking the size 11 I ordered is a lot wider (more proportionate?) than the size the previous reviewer ordered, as I have very wide feet with huge bunions and hammertoes, and the straps over the feet are too loose on me. However, it doesn't bother me, since the ankle straps keep the shoe fitting snugly where I want it to. Also, the footbed is sunken down enough that I could put some tan orthotics in it to make the straps over the foot fit more snugly, and most likely, no one would notice I was wearing orthotics with my sandals - quite a rarity with a sandal. Now I just need to find the tan orthotics!
Wears this shoe: anytime I can safely wear a platform sandal I wouldnt wear it climbing

Gorgeous shoe, but even my super tall n skinny 10 year old niece said they were too tight on her skinny foot. My foot is wide and I have a slightly taller instep so suffice it to say, these did not fit at all. Had to return.
