I had flashbacks of the 70's when Earth shoes were all the rage until you actually wore them. I had envisioned walking down the street looking like I'm leaning back but from what I've been told, I actually look like I'm walking with proper posture. When I tried them on, I immediately felt how soft and comfortable they felt and having Plantar fasciitis in both feet, I was despirate to find a pair of shoes that felt comfortable. Unlike some reviews, I had zero time to get used to the lower heel. I don't know if my back feels better since my back really wasn't the issue. However, my feet DO feel MUCH better and the shoes are incredibly light and comfortable.I've had them now for about a month so I have no idea of their longevity but so far they've shown no wear and I've worn them practically every day. For someone who's got plantar or is looking for a light, comfortable, breathable shoe, this shoe should definitely be on their list. I should mention that if you live in colder climates, this is definitely not a winter shoe since they breathe so well that you'll feel almost like you're walking barefoot.

Bought for my son, because I have several pairs that I LOVE! He is very satisfied with them too and he is very fussy about how shoes feel. The only problem I had with ordering these shoes was that they ran quite large. I ended up buying and exchanging two pairs before my son was comfortable with the fit. Highly recommended.

Very light weight and flexible. No break-in period required. Negative heel pitch became second-nature after about an hour of wear. No polishing necessary. If you believe in the negative heel hype, this shoe is a perfect complement to the leather Earth shoes. Glad I bought the Lazer Casual shoes.
