I thoroughly enjoy these shoes. I am often cautions about purchasing shoes online but these were a great find. The shoes are so light wieght and comfortable it is like wearing a heavy sock with great support. Very roomy in toe area which is another feature I greatly appreciate. The earth footwear is also a very environmentally friendly prodcut.

I have been wanting to try out the Earth shoes for a long time. So I picked a style and color that would be OK for wear at work or doing exercise so that if they were no good for one of those activities, I could still use it for the other. That said, the feel of these shoes is fantastic for walking. I walked about two miles non-stop and had worn them to work for two days. I was worried they would overstretch my calves, and I would get injured, but they felt good out of the box and continue to get better. My left Achilles has been problematic for weeks, but it is on the mend wearing the Earth shoe. This particular shoe is a nice compromise for a first Earth shoe. It is light, breathable, and flexible, but also supportive enough for exercise. The all black coloring makes it OK to wear with the jeans, cargo pants, and khakis I wear to work.
Wears this shoe: Work, walking. Maybe to run later on.

Very Comfortable Shoe for Orthotics

I bought this shoe for my son, who wears orthotics. I often have a hard time finding shoes that fit comfortably with the orthotics in. My son had a stroke, which affects his gait, and he has flat feet, which are also pretty wide. His physical therapist suggested we try the Earth Shoes, thinking it would help him stand more upright when he walked. When he put these shoes on and walked in them for the first time, his face literally lit up. We watched him walk, and he walked more upright, but the best part was the giant grin on his face. Then he asked if he could run in them. I was very lucky I chose this style first; other Earth shoes we tried were not as comfortable. These are tall enough to house the orthotics and still be comfortable, and the toe box is nice and wide. We tried the Rocket-K Vegan, and those were very uncomfortable. We love the Glides!
