These boots are built intentionally narrow and butter soft so that they really shape to your foot. They are a deep soft black (not shiny). I was surprised by the height. They are reported to have an 11" shaft which, when I checked from home seemed pretty tall, but I hadn't accounted for the heel. So, they really only come up about 8.5". That is my only disappointment, though, and small enough when they are cute, very comfortable and really easy to wear!

I wanted a casual slouch boot to wear with skirts and skinny jeans for a casual look. The boot is actually not slouched at all like the photo. I expected from other reviewers to be ok with this but was not. It is also not as worn or soft as I thought it would be. The biggest complaint is that it is so small my foot won't even fit inside. Either a grotesque error occurred, or my foot grew 2 sizes. I prefer the quality of nice soft leathers I get from designer brands. It is possible I expected too much. If you are ok with a product not quite fitting the description, it is a nice boot, but it's too rigid and stiff for me. I did not want a typical cowboy boot, and that is exactly what I got.

I kept finding boots I liked for 300 or more dollars, which was consequently out of the price range. This is definitely a great boot for the price. They weren't as tall as indicated in the photos online, but I decided that it didn't bother me. They slouch just enough to be casual and 'worn in' looking and they are VERY comfortable. I'm wearing mine with sundresses a la "Nancy Botwin" from Weeds. Great boots for the buck, I highly recommend them.

I had been looking for a pair of black cowboy boots and these are a great mix of function and fashion. The quality is awesome and they have just enough "slouch" to make them fashionable, yet still look authentic. The price was so reasonable for the quality. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for boots.
