I usually buy a 6.5 or occasionally 7 shoe. Since the 7 wasn't available I ordered a 7.5 as well. The 6.5 was definitely too small and went back and I'm continuing with the 7.5 with a 3/4 insole in. For being a narrow width I was expecting them to feel narrower but in fact as I wear them in I think I'll be able to cinch the laces tighter. I haven't done much hiking up to now but I think I'll appreciate the extra room in the toe, and so far my toes don't slide to the end. The red laces look great and the soles look like they'll walk over any rough trail. I'm looking forward to taking them to Yosemite in a few weeks.

I like these boots although they are a little wide on my foot. They are warm, and I always receive comments on them when I wear the red laces, which is all the time. Everyone likes the look as do I. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great boot for narrow feet

This is the best boot for my narrow feet. I used to have plantar's fasciities, and this boot is the only that has helped eliminate it. I just wish Dunham hadn't stopped making it. There's nothing like it on the market for narrow feet. I've ordered many pairs. Some feel wider than marked. For me, the narrower, the better.

I like the look of the boot, with its red laces. Brown laces come with each pair in case you prefer A less flashy look. I have A long, narrow foot and appreciate the fact that I could get it in an 10 1/2 AA, A VERY difficult size to find. It was A little short even though I ordered my normal size. The width was slightly wider than I would have liked, but with thick socks, it will be fine. I love the youthful style because I don't want to look like A granny, even though I am one!
