I bought these shoes originally for work not realizing the awesome tread they have! I then bought another pair for hiking. Over 4 years I have bought 4 pairs and been impressed every time! I joke at work I use them to walk up a wall with them but while hiking I practically have! They are very durable I buy another pair simply because I want a fresh clean pair once in while...they are all still in my closet not one has fallen apart, torn or loosen the stitching!

I bought these shoes because I was going to Alaska and knew I'd be doing a lot of hiking. I received them 2 days before leaving so I really didn't have time to break them in before going on my first hike. Our first hike ended up being quite strenuous. We were climbing over boulders and walking on sheer rock faces that were at 45 degree angles. These shoes were amazing. They gripped well to the surfaces and were absolutely awesome. I didn't have any discomfort whatsoever from any of the hikes that I went on or from any of the long hours I spent shopping and walking around the towns I was visiting. The shoes look a little more masculine than I expected even though I'd read the warning from another review saying that exact thing. I feel silly wearing them with shorts or capris because they look so masculine, but when I have jeans on, I don't even notice. I've received lots of compliments and have loved these shoes for the 2 months that I've owned them!

I wear a womans 13 narrow, Yes..I said 13. It is amost impossable to find this size shoe so I always have to settle for some other size that is wide or short or short and wide.This Waffle Stomper fit just like it is supposed to. It wasn't as feminin looking as I though it looked in the picture, but I love it anyway. It visually looks like a shoe that I would wear on a long mountain hike, but I like to wear it to the gym and with my jeans when running around town.

I like the shoes. They are light and I like the look. However the soles are a little clunky. They are meant for outdoor wear.

Great shoe. I have AAA width, so most tennis shoes don't fit. Dunham's always fit perfectly!
