These are quality shoes, made from robust leather and durable rubber. I'm impressed with the workmanship.Because my feet are flat and narrow, I generally have trouble finding traditional oxfords that fit. Not surprisingly, I found this true with the Dunham Battery Park Waterproof Oxford. I ordered a B width, but still found them roomy.After inserting a used footbed from an old pair of New Balance cross trainers beneath the existing footbed, and re-lacing them corset-style to maximize their tightness, things improved. Since my foot sits low, the top rear of the shoe tends to dig into the space between my heel and ankle.But I haven't given up yet. I'm still working with them. I expect as the leather softens, these will become old trusted friends.

I have always had trouble finding narrow shoes and tried several brands but always had the same results; too wide. Well, Dunhams is as advertised. The shoe is light, stylish and comfortable. I'm done shopping around for a shoe that fits. It's now my go to brand.

I had to get a wider size than I normally wear as the Dunham line runs very narrow. If you are unsure, order your normal width and one width higher and return the one that you don't want. With shoe buys great return policy it's not a big deal.
