I'm always looking for big shoes (sizes 19-21) for my 17 year old son and for people who wear big shoes, it's hard to find one. These are great quality shoes.

When I wore these for the first time, I did not step in any puddles and my socks were quite wet just from the rain that fell on them. Water resistant would be more accurate than waterproof. They don't even have a gusset tongue like most quality waterproof shoes. I've had success with Dunham waterproof shoes before, but these are disappointing. Other than the lack of waterproof it's a very nice shoe.

The sole is much too hard. I have worn for 3-4 months and it still has not yet become comfortable or "broken in". Very clunky, hard feel to the sole. The sole is so hard I think the shoes would last forever but they are not comfortable enough. I bought Rockports to replace them.

I'm a 12B with very flat feet who has a difficult time finding shoes, especially casual shoes. This pair of Dunham Hadleys fit great from the first step. They are extremely supportive and hug comfortably in the heel with plenty of room in the toe box. I'm not even inserting my heel cushions and feeling no pain.
Wears this shoe: Every other day to work which includes walking 3 miles to and from the Metro.
