I use the treadmill for a half hour each day and walk quite a bit also. My shoes tend to wear out quickly, regardless of their quality. I am very optimistic about the durability particularly of this shoe. More important perhaps, it gives me needed support. Although the shoe is not as pliable as others at this point, it is quite comfortable.
Wears this shoe: Whenver I am not in dressy clothes.

Have worn orthotics in my shoes for years but found it difficult as I grew older to find a good looking shoe other than an athletic shoe to fit them in. This Dunham shoe, in both white and black, has filled the need for a dressy looking, casual pant shoe.

I wanted to try a little more expensive brand with the same styling to see if they would have more support and a longer life span. I feel this shoe does have better support for my high arches for which I wear custom made shoe inserts. I don't know about the life span yet. These shoes also go up the foot a little higher (closer to the ankle) which is nice for keeping them on my foot with my inserts, although I cannot use the first set of eyelets because of this or the shoes cut into the bottom of my ankle.

I like the way the shoe supports my feet but it is too hard and stiff for me. I'm hoping they soften up a little the more I wear them.
