The soft toe Contractor boot features a Graphite Rollbar®Support System with a median and lateral post in the midsole maximizes rear foot stability. Tuff-Life™ Comfort System offers a blend of lightweight midsole and long wearing outsole.
Slip resistant Tru-Trak® soft rubber outsole supports traction and oil-resistant and non-marking. Fiberglass shank.
Visible ABZORB® bottom with ABZORB® pods in heel and forefoot provide shock absorption and cushioning. Tectonic Tongue™ with special foam features and modules to support flex points and comfort. Polyurethane midsole.

I had to return my regular size to one size larger for a proper fit. The glued-on Tru-Trak soft sole material has been peeling off but doesn't appear to be affecting any of the traction qualities at all. This boot does track mud as it holds onto it in the nooks and crannies of the sole design. Overall this is a comfortable, warm, waterproof boot that fits nicely with good boot socks.
Wears this shoe: Usage includes inside/outside work, motorcycling, general wear.

This boot seems to be not as wide as the one I used to order years ago, probably because it's got more padding.

I have trouble finding boots that will fit. The 6E was wide and comfortable and did not need a lot of breaking in. I will buy another pair and would recomend these.
