The shoe (boot) feels fine in size and width. The construction is top notch but the insole is a bit flat and has no cushion. It added a cushion support system which makes the shoe feel like a slipper. The Gel insert makes this a terrific walking/hiking boot. The top of the tong is too thick and is in the way which creates a bulg after they are tied. This could be cut down in thickness for a more comfortable fit at the top of the ankle. Since they are plastic, I wonder how long the lace clips will last, but I assume the ties have been researched for durability. I really like the sole but find it slips on metal such as grates and covers for utility vaults.
