I bought this because it was listed as waterproof for an upcoming trip to Alaska. I haven't but barely started to break them in although they feel comfortable right from the start. They are nice and lightweight and I only hope they are truly waterproof when tested.

I took these up for a Boy Scout camping trip this weekend. Comfy right out of the box. Glad to report that I had zero blisters after 3 full days. This was the first time I wore them.
I like the Dunham boots.

I was planning a trip to Arizona and wanted something to wear while walking in the desert that offered more protection than my regular walking shoes. I'm not knowledgable about hiking boots, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. The Cloud 9 was discounted, and it liked its looks, so I ordered it. This boot is very comfortable, has broken in well, and I expect it to do well on my trip next week. I liked the color and appreciate that it seems fairly lightweight on my feet.
