Laces and Width February 23, 2013 Reviewer: Dave from Woodbridge, Va Shoe Size: Felt full size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked A nice looking shoe but I knew when I saw the laces used on this shoe that I'd have a problem with them. I don't know what this type of lace is made of but I've had hem before and they never seem to stay tied - I'm always having to reach down and retie them.As for the width - I take a B width but this shoe seems a bit wider than other B width shoes that I have gotten - especially in the heel.I have tried to make the necessary adjustments so I can wear this shoe and things seem to be working out OK. I would have returned them but I don't think there would have been anything that could have been done to correct the problems I have mentioned. Wears this shoe: As a casual shoe when getting together with my friends.

Shoes as comfortable as slippers February 15, 2013 Reviewer: Mike from Annapolis, MD Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I love the comfort. They hold up well at work where I have to kneel down to reach things quite often. Other shoes did not hold up well or stay comfortable with all the flexing. I do wish these kept their appearance up a little better. This model is now my favorite (this is my second pair). I wear boat type shoes most of the time and I've tried many. Wears this shoe: at work and on weekends

Good Captain January 16, 2013 Reviewer: John from Miami, FL Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width My feet are narrow and flat. The Dunham Captain is the only boat type shoe that has ever fit properly, and the rollbar helps with pronation. This is my 4th pair. Wears this shoe: I use them as my general casual shoe.
