Straight velcro straps?? May 22, 2009 Reviewer: Computer Tech Guy from Kansas Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width The shoe fits great but I have a hard time getting the shoe to fit tight on my foot with a straight velcro strap that doesn't loop through one side and pull down on the other to tighten. I don't know if this was intentional on Drew's part but it doesn't work for me and I will not order another pair with velcro. Laces only. Shoe buy is great and will do business again. Wears this shoe: At work

Talk abouyt a weird fit! March 19, 2009 Reviewer: Mike in Temple from Temple, Texas These are good looking, well built shoes, BUT...I have a slightly wider than normal foot (D width) across the ball. My heels are rather narrow. If you have a similar foot build, then DO NOT buy these shoes. They fit fine across the arch and toes, but are so loose in width at the heel that I cannot get the shoes tight enough to stay firm on my feet. They actually bow out at the heel. It is like wearing flip-flops!My wife also has a pair of Drews and has exactly the same problem. Back to New Balance, I guess. Wears this shoe: NEVER

Excellant work shoe March 17, 2009 Reviewer: Bob Hastings from Warsaw, Ky Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width My prescription orthotics caused a squeaking with the shoes with the first insole removed to allow room. When I removed the second insert, the squeak went away. Very comfortable shoe with superior support to other brands I have tried in four years of wearing custom orthotics. Wears this shoe: Work, on my feet 40 hours a week on concrete.
