This is a very comfortable sandal, which is easy to adjust because of the hook and loop straps across the top of the shoe.It's savvy looking because it looks much like a Birkenstock, yet is very cushy, and supportive.

I first ordered this shoe in an 8 1/2, when I walked, my toes hit the front, so I exchanged for a 9. Now walking with them, I realized that the 9 is too big. I do like the velcro straps can be adjusted as the feet swell. I wish I could exchange this shoe for something else though, since it really does not fit my foot right. Also the suede like insole is already wearing after having the shoe 2 short weeks. Overall, I am not happy!!

I bought the pale green sandal, and it looks terrific with anything I wear. The inner sole of the sandal gradually molds to the foot and thus cuts down on foot slide. Providing two straps with velcro at the forefront and middle of the foot allows for better foot alignment than trying to adapt a sandal to the foot using only a buckle and holes in the strap. My foot is particularly difficult to fit because I have a large toe that is distorted to the left at almost a 45 degree angle by a bunion, and that is covered by the distortion and lifting of the 2nd toe to the right.

These sandals have velcro straps, but definitely do not have a "velcro look". The straps appear to have buckle closures. They look nice and are comfortable. They have removable insoles and work well with orthodics.

I had not found a comfortable sandal since developing plantar faciatis...now I have! This sandal gives great support and the narrow size truly fits my very narrow foot. I had tried a few other Drew shoes and, though comfortable, I could not get beyond "the orthopedic look". This sandal has the Drew comfort but is also a very attractive casual sandal. I highly recommend it.
