Drew Jeremy Heavy, tight, arch collapse

I bought this shoe for walking long distances. I gave it two stars because the construction appears to be of good quality. However, the shoe feels tight and narrow for a 12 6E. My toes were pinched. Something strange in the design results in the outside edge being slightly raised while there is no arch support so your feet collapse inward at the arch, causing arch and knee pain. Also, the shoe is heavy and fatiguing to walk in. I ended up returning them.

First time I've tried the velcro closes, and they hold very well and are easy to adjust. This shoe had great support and allows me to put in my own orthotics.

I really like the fact that this shoe has no laces. It makes wearing shoes much easier as you never have to worry about tripping over your laces. One down side to this company is that the sole of the shoes come off very easily. This shoe as well as my last the sole came off within a month of purchase.

Drew Navigator II Overall pleased

I am a diabetic and I bought the Drew Navigator for the easy on easy off velcro strap. Period. But while I thought that the strap would be the best part of the shoe, I was wrong. The strap is the worst part of the shoe. Leaning your feet to the side or putting your feet next to a flat surface (as in when you drive) or brushing against something causes the strap to "curl" and you have to "roll" the strap in the opposite direction to get it flat again. I do like the strap, but it can be a pain. What I really found that I like about the shoe is the way it repels dirt, mud and water. I have been wearing the Navigator for a few weeks and the soles are still clean! It rained the other day and all I had to do to get the mud off is to use a paper towel on them and they looked like new again.Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and I think you will be too.
