Granted, I tend to be had on shoes, but the heel is actually wood. The sole has started to separate from the body of the shoe, and for an orthopedic shoe, I felt it didn't really give the support I expected. Looks nice, good leather - but I probably won't buy this brand again.

I received these and wore them to work the first day, very comfortable. I was hesitant to order because I wasn't familiar with the brand. I will look for this brand again. They are very comfortable!
