A wide polyurethane outsole helps create a stable walking base for added comfort and control. A VELCRO® brand closure creates a wide opening and can be adjusted for a customized fit. Features the Plus Fitting System® with two removable footbeds for added and double depth. Accommodates prescribed orthotics. Dri-Lex® lining to wick away moisture. Flared, wide based outsole. Finding diabetic shoes that have some style has been a challenge, but I am so pleased to find these. I bought them in the wine color--a dark wine in 8.5 M. (I have been wearing a 9W in other shoes but ordered down based on other reviews.) The leather and construction is very high quality and I like the uncluttered style. They work well in a dress and with pants. I want to buy other colors but already have shoes in the colors left. It seems this style has been discontinued, but I hope Drew will have something comparable when.

I needed something for my orthotics and to fit my narrow foot; I was able to find this style in a 9N, and it's perfect. This is my second pair of Drews and I like them very much. Excellent quality. This particular shoe is a MaryJane style, and although it is a bit sturdy looking -- it's not clunky. The comfort factor, and accomodating the orthotics, take precedence over cuteness. But it's cute enough.
Wears this shoe: With dresses, skirts, or pants... suitable for all. Casual or evening going out

I LOVE this shoe. It is more supportive than I anticipated and I can wear it everyday, not just for dressy times. It is a clean, classic mary jane look and I like the slight height of the heel. Very comfortable. My orthodics fit well.

I bought these shoes because I needed a pair of navy blue shoes, and they are actually hard to come by. I tried many others, but was unable to find a good fit for my narrow foot. The 9 1/2 narrow was exactly what I needed.
