I needed a black dress shoe that would allow for a removable orthodic. Reviews said to purchase 1/2 size smaller. I did and am pleased with the size!

When I first got these shoes I was thrilled with the appearance and fit. Upon wearing several times it seemed they were wider than I thought. I am wearing them with gel inserts, which fit fine into the shoe, but even with those I am not sure these will be as useful as I'd planned. They're pretty expensive to sit in a closet, so I hope I change my mind about how they feel and wear them more.

I love this shoe. I have (Fred Flintstone feet), size 7.5 extra wide so I have great difficultly finding shoes that fit, especially dress shoes. I wore the shoes around the house to see how they felt. This shoe is so comfortable, no break in period needed. They have a cushioned insert that feels great. I give the shoe 5 stars.
